File Transfer

Please use the features of your layout program to collect all components of the files. This process insures that we receive all of the graphics, fonts, and associated data that goes with the job. The software makers all have different names for this feature. Some of them follow:
•InDesign: "Package" under the File menu.
•Microsoft Publisher: "Pack and Go" under the File menu.
•PageMaker: "Save for Service Provider" under the Utilities/Plug-ins menu.
•Quark: "Collect for Output" under the File menu.

After the files have been gathered please include all files generated by the collection program.

The largest piece of e-mail you can send over the internet is 16 megabytes (MB). This includes message text, headers, and the attachments. If your file does not exceed this limitation you can e-mail it to us as an attachment at pripress@aol.com

If e-mail is used and you attach multiple files they may be zipped (compressed) into a single file before you send them.

If your file exceeds the size limitation or you prefer you may use a FTP client and upload it to our FTP site. Please call us for a username and password at 434-977-7468. If you upload files to the FTP site you will also need to notify us that they are there.

In your FTP program set up the connection as follows:

Profile Name: PP FTP site (example)
Host Name: www.pripress.com
Username: xxxxxxxxx (the one we give you)
Password: xxxxxxxxx (the one we give you)
